Courses will be a mix of webinars (pre-recorded and livestreamed), Workbook exercises, Group Sessions, and self-paced practice in your own time. Depending on which course package you have purchased, some or all of the above may not be available to you, however this will be made clear at the time of purchase and once you have made payment.
We completely understand how hard it can be to come up with the necessary course fees, even for something as important as practical contracting experience.
At our discretion, Rachelle would be willing to speak with you about alternate arrangements such as longer payment plans or Ambassador programs (where you contribute to some or all of your course fees by referring other course participants).

A fundamental advantage of these courses are the ways in which practical skills are taught. Drafting exercises will be provided, some in-class and some for self-paced practice at home. Students will be encouraged to attempt all exercises – there are no right answers, only opportunities to improve your skills. Rachelle will take you through each practical skills exercise and will discuss her thinking, tips and traps, and ways you could approach the exercise differently next time. For some exercises, sample answers will also be provided – you can study these at home and compare them with your own answers to further improve your skills.
Very little. These courses have been deliberately designed to focus on practical teaching and exercises. You can learn the theory about Offer and Acceptance at University – here, Rachelle wants to teach you how to draft Recitals, Definitions, a clause, a Contract Part, and a whole Contract. Then how to review the Contract and negotiate its terms. You don’t need theory for that!
You will receive a Certificate of Completion for the course from Blaze Professional Learning. At Rachelle’s discretion, opportunities may be made available for select students to carry out Internships with Blaze Business & Legal, to gain further practical experience in a law firm setting. Contact Rachelle on enquiry@blazeprofessionallearning.com.au if you wish to enquire about Internship opportunities. Please note – Rachelle refuses to offer any Internships unless they are paid by Blaze Business & Legal, so this may limit the number that are available.
Blaze Professional Learning’s courses have been designed around 5 main topics:
- Contract Planning
- Contract Drafting
- Contract Review
- Contract Negotiation
- Contract Management
Each course will also be designated as Fundamentals, Intermediate or Advanced.
This lets you select from a number of different learning opportunities over the next few months, at the level appropriate to you.
Unless you have Advanced skills in working with contracts, you may wish to undertake the Fundamentals courses first – we have found that the way we teach is very different to other course providers, and we believe even Intermediate students will learn a stack of new techniques.
Rachelle can’t wait to share her courses with you.
